Usage Terms & Permissions

I reserve the right to prohibit the use of my work in any context I personally deem malicious, harmful, or inappropriate, even if the specific use is not explicitly listed as prohibited within my Usage Terms & Permissions.I do not condone the misuse of my work. I reserve the right to revoke usage permissions and seek the removal or DMCA takedown of any content that violates my Usage Terms & Permissions or my personal standards regarding my original work.By purchasing, downloading, using, refitting, editing or otherwise modifying my original work, you automatically agree to all of the following, legally binding and enforceable Terms.

Ownership & Attribution

• You must provide clear and visible credit to me for my original work.• You may NOT claim any sort of authorship or ownership of my work, in whole or in part. I am always to be cited as the original creator and the copyright holder, unless if stated otherwise in the description.

Usage Restrictions

• Commercial use, resale, or any form of financial gain using my original work is strictly prohibited.• Do not share files of my paid work with individuals who have not paid for them.• Do not repost my original, unmodified work anywhere. Link back to my original posts on websites where the original posts by me are.• By default it is prohibited to redistribute my work to other games, but I'm open for private discussion.• Posting modified versions of my original work is allowed only on these sites:

Moral Rights & Integrity

CC Licensing

Some of my original 3D meshes and graphics are licensed under the Creative Commons License 4.0, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International, a.k.a. CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.CC licenses are legally binding and enforceable internationally.Follow the CC license and my Usage Terms & Permissions and you're fine.Additionally, you have to extend the exact same CC license with your creations, refits or edits that use my CC licensed, original work by copying the license text from the description (the one that starts with "[mod name] (3d mesh) © [year(s)] by sabercutt is licensed under...").

↳ Skipping this step means the creation, refit or edit is not in compliance with the CC license and may cause me to send a takedown notice or a DMCA to the website owner, if I'm unable to reach you out to edit the description.

Terms of Service

Usage Rights & Permissions

• You are purchasing the right to use the commissioned work privately.• You may NOT claim any sort of authorship or ownership of the work, in whole or in part. I am always to be cited as the original creator and the copyright holder.• You may NOT share the work with anyone else without my knowledge and consent.• You may NOT edit or kit-bash the work for the purpose of redistribution.• You may NOT sell the work or use the work for financial gain.

Safety & Breach of Terms

I reserve the right to cancel a commission, see a commission as abandoned, blacklist a client, repurpose the project, warn others of potential fraud and/or release the work publicly to the community if:

• The client provides no communication for 7 consecutive days during an active project.• The final 50% payment is not received after the work has been tested and verified.• A PayPal chargeback is initiated at any point.• I find out my Terms of Service have been breached in any way.

Payment & Refund Policy

• All transactions are sorted via PayPal invoices which requires an e-mail address from you.• A 50% payment deposit before the work begins is always required; 50% final payment after the mod is tested in-game, but before the final file delivery.• Full refund will only be given in cases where I cancel the commission for any reason.

↳ If the client cancels the commission, no refund will be given, as PayPal service fees and time spent cannot be recovered.

Liability Waiver

If you request the inclusion of original assets by another creator as part of the commission, you assume all responsibility for ensuring their Permissions/Terms of Service allow their work to be used in private paid commissions. I am not liable for disputes arising from misrepresented permissions provided by the client. By commissioning me, you accept this waiver.

Basic Info

How To Commission

• My commissions must be officially open, I do not take commissions any other way right now.• Review Pricing and Terms of Service thoroughly.• Fill out the Google Form with all requested details. Do not rush this step.• I will reach out to you via Discord DMs.

↳ Please ensure your privacy settings allow messages from shared servers or be prepared to accept a temporary friend request from me. If I cannot contact you within 7 days, your commission will be abandoned and the slot freed for another client.

Timeline & Communication

• Clients are processed in the order their form submission was accepted.• Once started, work typically takes between a few hours to 3 weeks, depending on complexity.• I provide swift, transparent and honest communication, and I expect the same from you. You are welcome to request extra status updates at any time.• Specific deadlines can be discussed but must be agreed upon upfront.

Technical Capabilities & Workflow

• I prioritize creating optimized, lower poly meshes (this also depends on the complexity of the design), but you can request higher polycount.• Two model versions are provided for 3D meshes with extra skeleton/earring bones (physics weighted & static) to ensure compatibility with premade Gposes.• If your request requires a specific Customize+ preset, I require that preset for creation and testing purposes. Be careful with Customize+ usage, because the mod will not look correct if the preset is changed or removed later on.• Full dyability support included by default to the best of my ability, although complex diffuses may impact clarity (for ports, extra payment is required for me to provide this).• You receive one free minor adjustment after completion. Subsequent changes or major re-works require additional payment.• Issues found in the finished product are fixed for free.

Scope of Work

There are four types of body bases in FFXIV and unless stated otherwise, the commission price covers ONLY ONE of the body bases:

* Highlander males may sometimes require an individual model.

I Can't / Won't Do

To maintain my workflow and quality standards, I do NOT offer the following services:

• Animations, VFX, or particles.• Hairstyles, face sculpts, tattoos, or makeup.• Guns and heavy plate armor.• Assets from other games (unless you provide the model, textures, and proof of license).

Game Limitations

Please commission the following with discretion, as FFXIV engine limitations make perfection difficult and heavy, unfixable clipping might occur:

• Armpit weights (loose tops)• Leg weights (skintight skirts/dresses)

My Limitations

Providing perfection can be difficult for me with the following:

• Crotch extra skeleton weights (male body bases)
• Facial piercings with heavy Customize+ preset (especially if the preset has position and rotation editing)

In-Game Test Security

For the in-game test before the final 50% payment, I will provide a file with a watermarked model and/or textures or use a screenshare session to verify the work with the client. Final clean files are delivered only after the PayPal transaction status says "Paid".

↳ Watermarking may be skipped with trusted friends and usual clients.

Pricing

All prices are in Euros (€).
These are the solid base prices which can only go up, depending on the complexity.

Extra Fees

Get 25% off your commission total if you allow me to release the mod publicly on my Ko-fi 2 weeks after its completion!

↳ This is not applicable if the mod uses another creator's assets that I do not wish to recreate or is a highly niche design.
